DESCRIPTION:Simpson University\, in partnership with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute\, welcomes John Coleman to campus on April 13 from 9:00–10:00 AM. \nColeman serves as Co-CEO of Sovereign’s Capital\, a global investment firm focused on partnering with purpose-driven companies and leaders. Prior to this role\, he held several leadership positions at Invesco Ltd.\, including Head of Invesco Private Capital Partners\, COO of Private Markets\, and Global Head of Strategy and Business Planning. \nEarlier in his career\, Coleman worked in consulting and finance with organizations including McKinsey & Company\, Bridgewater Associates\, and the Housing Partnership Network. \nIn addition to his leadership in the investment world\, Coleman is a frequent writer and public speaker whose work has appeared in Harvard Business Review and Forbes. He is also the author of multiple books\, including The HBR Guide to Crafting Your Purpose. \nStudents\, faculty\, and community members are invited to attend this Q&A-style conversation on leadership\, investing\, and purpose-driven work.
